We all need a poem,
every once in a while,
A poem of our own,
to just make us smile.

A poem about flowers,
rivers and trees,
Sunshine and storm clouds,
the buzzing of bees.

A clear summers night,
a full moon above,
Picnics and campfires,
laughter and love.

The smell of good perfume,
the noise of close friends,
The view from a mountain,
a road with no end.

A poem for together,
a poem for apart.
A poem that will speak
right to your heart.

A poem not too short,
then again, not too long.
So this is your poem.
